I'm not 100% sure but I think what you need to do is first delete the Netflix application from your Xbox 360. Have your friend log into his Netflix account on the website and there is an option to
the netflix app has never given me any issues whatsoever. however the 360 youtube app makes me want to pull my hair out. Some videos will play fine, but most videos buffer periodically. I have a good dsl speed. I can stream HD Netflix movies flawlessly, but trying to play a crappy quality youtube video gives me issues.
